The Simulation Coordinator will work as part of a team under the broad direction of the Clinical Skills Unit Manager. The Coordinator will develop and implement simulation-based education that is designed to enhance medical education and improve patient safety and quality in health care delivery.
The main focus of the Simulation Coordinator is the responsibility for coordination and facilitation of a number of key programs, including medical student clinical skills sessions, facilitation of simulation sessions and the support of post graduate and undergraduate programs to enhance interdisciplinary education. This position will contribute to the development of education programs, coordination of programs and will assist with administrative tasks related to courses and clinical sessions. The position will involve working with a range of disciplines around the delivery of training in simulated learning environments using a range of tools including high fidelity manikins.
