But is Big Data relevant to Defence and National Security?
Mr Ben Kilsby: Serious Games: We are not alone
Serious Games are wandering in the wilderness. Confused, misunderstood, too cool for some, not cool enough for others, serious games are homeless – an emerging capability sleeping quietly in the woods. Who will lay claim to them? Will it be the simulation industry? Ben Kilsby from Holopoint thinks not…
CAD software is an essential part of engineering today, but this is just the tip of the digital prototyping iceberg. Dynamic simulation of mechanisms, computational fluid dynamics and finite element modelling create exciting possibilities in efficient product development. See how these tools can save time, money and improve decision making.
The Innovation Voucher Program (IVP) encourages collaboration between small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and research and development organisations. Vouchers are awarded to research and developers to help SMEs, without the necessary resources, solve technical problems and to encourage greater innovation within the manufacturing sector.
