The Australian Centre for Visual Technologies (ACVT) is a Research Centre within the University of Adelaide. It undertakes research, development and educational activities in the areas of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Graphics and Visualisation. The Centre was founded in 2005 and has experienced considerable growth since that time, with some 40 research and development staff and PhD students now being part of the Centre. ACVT undertakes a variety of activities including fundamental and applied research and contracting to industry, defence and government. ACVT is focused on turning research into real commercial benefits to our business partners and beneficial outcomes for the wider community and the economy.
